Vision and Purpose

It has always been a goal of Victory Life Center to start a training center where men and women could be raised up to be full-time ministers.  We are now able to see that dream come to fruition.  At Global Bible Training Center (GBTC) you can receive the training you need to become a certified, licensed, or ordained minister with the Assemblies of God denomination.  (There are other denominations that will recognize the training for certification purposes.) Even more important than the credentials is the practical instruction you will receive in becoming the minister God intended you to be.  We feel it is important to not only receive instruction, but be given a chance to apply the things you are learning, and that principle is utilized in every class.

Quarter System

GBTC is based upon a quarterly calendar. A quarter consists of 13 weeks. There are 3 quarters in the year.

Certified Minister

To receive a one-year certificate, you must take (3) courses per quarter for 3 quarters and do (1) internship for one quarter.
A one-year certificate allows you to be a Certified Minister in the Assemblies of God, and recognition as a person pursuing Biblical studies in other denominations.

Licensed Minister

To receive a two-year certificate to become a licensed minister in the Assemblies of God, you must take (3) courses per quarter for 3 quarters, take (1) course in the fourth quarter, and do (1) internship.
Other denominations will recognize a two-year certificate.

Ordained Minister

To receive a three-year certificate to become an ordained minister in the Assemblies of God, you must take (3) courses per quarter for 3 quarters and take (2) courses in the fourth quarter.
